Independent nonprofit Partnership for Children (PFC) will be the recipient of an all-day fundraiser at Pizza Factory in Salinas on March 20.

On that day, during regular operating hours, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., just by informing your server that you’re there for Partnership for Children, 20% of your total bill will go to PFC. Pizza Factory is located at 926 S. Main St. in Salinas.

Partnership for Children is an independent nonprofit organization focused on increasing access to care for kids with life-threatening conditions and supporting their families with rides and financial help. PFC offers these children and their families free rides to and from their hospital or doctor. Or, if they want to use their own vehicles, PFC will provide financial assistance to purchase gas.

“We’re looking to expand our fundraising efforts and connect with the business community,” said PFC Executive Director Jennifer L. Ramirez. “So this is a very wonderful way to branch out our fundraising.”

Ramirez said that currently the three-year-old organization is part of two annual fundraisers, one by the Monterey Bay Thunderbirds car club and Monterey County Weekly’s Monterey County Gives! campaign.

This is the first time PFC has tried this type of fundraiser as well as partnered with Pizza Factory.

For more information on the fundraiser, call PFC at 831-422-3002.
