Financial Assistance

Easing the financial weight so families can focus on what matters most.

Caring for a child with a serious illness affects every part of a family’s life — including their finances. Lost income, travel expenses, and the cost of daily living can quickly add up, creating added stress at an already overwhelming time.

At Partnership for Children, we step in to help relieve that burden. With compassion and flexibility, we offer financial assistance to help families stay housed, keep the lights on, and meet urgent needs — so they can focus their energy on caring for their child.

What We Provide

  • Annual financial assistance for each family we serve — this can be used all at once for an urgent expense, or spread throughout the year to help with ongoing needs like rent, utility bills, or insurance payments

  • Funeral and memorial assistance, offered with deep compassion and care when a child passes

  • Resource coordination, including collaboration with hospital social workers and other community agencies to help families access additional support

How It Helps

We understand how quickly financial strain can compound during a child’s illness. Our assistance helps families:

  • Maintain housing and essential services during difficult times

  • Address urgent or unexpected expenses without delay

  • Honor their child with dignity in the event of loss

  • Feel supported, seen, and less alone
