That’s why we make it a priority to bring comfort, celebration, and joy to the families we serve — in big and small ways.
At Partnership for Children, holidays are a chance to pause, connect, and remind each family that they are remembered and cherished. Our celebrations are rooted in kindness, inclusion, and the simple power of making a child smile.

Events
Valentines Day
Valentine’s Day is all about spreading love, smiles, and a little surprise. Each year, volunteers create whimsical, heartfelt cards that are mailed directly to children living with serious illness. These joyful notes offer encouragement and connection, reminding kids that they are surrounded by a caring community that’s thinking of them and celebrating them.
Easter
Our Easter Celebration brings families together for a fun-filled spring day at Tatum’s Garden Park. With food and drinks, a lively egg hunt, Easter baskets for every child and sibling, and photos with the Easter Bunny, the day is designed for laughter, connection, and making happy memories. Families can relax, enjoy time together, and connect with others who understand their journey.
Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland is a magical holiday celebration created to spark joy and togetherness. Families enjoy food and drinks, entertainment, crafts, games, face painting, art projects, hot cocoa or cider, and photos with Santa Claus. More than just a party, Winter Wonderland offers families a chance to pause, celebrate, and share meaningful moments in a warm, welcoming space.
Miles of Smiles
Miles of Smiles brings our community together to brighten the holiday season for children and families. Staff, partners, businesses, and volunteers work side by side to provide toys, gifts, pajamas, books, warm hats, and stuffed stockings for children and their siblings. This joyful, community-powered effort helps families feel supported, celebrated, and connected during a season that can be especially challenging.
